Coconut Latte Jungle Juice
When people go to a party and see jungle juice, they tend to expect fruity drinks that are undoubtedly flavored with some intense form of grain alcohol and are likely not BAD tasting, but definitely pretty far from GOOD as well. The following recipe is kind of a game changer, and will throw your guests for a loop until they try it. Then they will discover how insanely awesome it is because it tastes EXACTLY like a coconut latte! If you haven’t had a coconut latte, then try one and you will know what this jungle-juice is like. I would also like to add that this drink was originally invented in Shanghai by myself, and was added to the menu of the bar in which I invented it. Over there it is known as the “Lao Bai” or 老白 at C’s Pub. Check it out if you can find C’s!
WHAT YOU NEED
- 2 Liter of Kahlua (Or any Coffee Liqueur)
- 1 Liter Coconut Rum (Malibu, Cruzan, or Other)
- 1 Liter Bacardi 151 or Everclear
- 3 Gallons of milk
- 1 Bag of Ice
INSTRUCTIONS
Mix all of the alcohol and milk in a large vat. Make sure you have a container that can accomodate this much fluid. It makes approximately 16 Liters or about 4.5 Gallons. Also, make sure not to mix the beverage too long before the party because milk shouldn’t sit out too long, even if it is mixed with large quantities of alcohol. As the party begins, add the bag of ice. NOTE: after the bag of ice is added, the mixture will sit at around 6 Gallons, and about 21 liters….prepare yourself.
ALCOHOL BY VOLUME
This mixture will come out to approximately 9% alcohol by volume (with ice-melt). Remember, that is TWICE as strong as most beers, and will hit you hard.
