The labyrinth party is based entirely around elaborate decoration. The purpose is to make your party seem mysterious by transforming your apartment into a maze that will keep your guests guessing at every turn. You can create secret rooms, corridors, hallways that lead to rooms your guests wouldn’t expect, or even branches that don’t lead anywhere at all, but all of it adds to the fun!
There are two ways to implement a labyrinth party. You can hang sheets from the ceiling to create the labyrinth, or use large boxes connected together to create a maze you can crawl through.
Use a staple gun to hang sheets from the ceiling and create hallways, rooms, and paths. Then, you can secure lighting such as black-lights, colored lights or OTHER. You could also try painting on the sheets with laundry detergent which glows blue under black-lights.
Boxes work similarly to the sheets, but with one exception. You can’t consume all your space with boxes, and cannot obligate every guest to crawl around in boxes, whereas with sheets you can turn the entire house into a maze.
