caprese salad skewer

Every cook, college or otherwise, needs an arsenal of quick and easy dishes that they can pull out for dinner parties, date-nights in, potlucks, or any other random occurrence that might require food.  Among the many options satisfying the basic criteria of quick, tasty and attractive, in my opinion few are better than caprese salad skewers.  Not only do they satisfy the basic criteria, but they outperform their competition by also being exceptionally healthy, very portable and easy to eat, and cheap.

ALL YOU NEED

  • Cherry or Grape Tomatoes
  • Fresh Basil
  • Mozzarella Cheese (Balls or Slices)
  • Balsamic Vinegar
  • Salt + Pepper (Or Jane’s Crazy Salt if you are feeling WaCkY)

CONSTRUCTION

Step 1:  Put the ingredients on a skewer, splash some salt and pepper and balsamic on the ingredients.

Step 2:  Oh….wait….nvm.
