Very few people in the 18-25 age bracket are excited about Valentine’s Day anymore. For most, it means a demarcation between singletons and relationshipites, a symbol of mass consumerism and the monetization of love, and a pressurized gauge of your love for a particular person as a quantity relative to other couples’ love, which has been exacerbated by social media.
