10 Fun Dates That Won’t Break the Bank
Sometimes it really is the thought that counts. You could be cliché and take your date to a dinner and a movie, but why not try something new and entertaining. There are many places you could take your date that are both fun and inexpensive.
Rediscover Childhood
When was the last time you went to the park? Rediscover your childhood together with a picnic. Spend a day on the swings, slide, and merry-go-round. Pack lunch and have a picnic on the fields with your date’s favorite foods. Stop by the dollar store before you head out and buy a kite. Spend time flying it and just letting loose. Just act like the inner-child that is still in you and have fun.
Comedy Night
For any date, especially the first one, you don’t want a night of awkward silence and stares. Go to a comedy night and laugh throughout the date. Some comedy clubs can get expensive so just go on amateur night and you can support aspiring comedians while saving yourself some cash. This is good for when you are having a bad day and just want to laugh it out. Many comedy clubs offer free tickets to college students.
