Write Your Papers Tonight – Wikipedia to Blackout in SOPA Protest

| January 17, 2012 | 0 Comments

Wikipedia Blackout

As many know, Wikipedia is vehemently against SOPA, and they made the decision recently to black out the entire English-Language Wikipedia on January 18th. In a letter to all Wikipedia members Sue Garner explains the blackout and what spawned the decision.

This means, get that first paper of the semester out of the way before tonight, because if it’s due Thursday you’re going to have a lot harder time writing it without Wikipedia.

For those that are not familiar with SOPA, here is a quick video to fill you in.
