Featured Artist: Toro Y Moi

Toro Y Moi is the stage name used by recording artist Chazwick Bundick. His music has taken on many forms since he began recording, but he is now identified with the chillwave movement of summer 2009.  His first studio album “Causers of This” has a unique sound blending electronic and ambient with compelling vocals.  The end products are songs that are eminently listenable but with the added ability to create the illusion of a drug-like euphoria.  Don’t believe me?  Try this: On any given beautiful day plug in some ear-buds, lay in some grass, and crank the song “Blessa.”  If you don’t feel slightly high and are not transported to the summer vacation of some unknown high-school year then there is something wrong with your ears.
