This month’s special: Hip-Hop; specifically the underground variety.

“Ground Up” is a trio out of north Philly made up of members Azar, Malakai, and Bij Lincolns.  With a handful of mixtapes and an EP in there somewhere their success locally and nationally is hardly unprecedented.  Where other Pennsylvania locals such as Wiz Khalifa are receiving a lot of love, I would say Ground up is equally if not more worth a good listen. Check out their mixtape Best Friends Volume 2.
